2008 Volunteering Programme -

Youth Volunteering Programme

Aged between 16 and 25 years ? In August 2008 the farm is starting a new three year Youth Volunteering Programme funded by vinvolved.  The exciting thing about the programme is that it will be created by you the volunteers and can include anything from starting a social enterprise on the farm to organising youth and community events.  Please get in touch to register your interest. contact us

Work experience The Farm offers work experience for school pupils Year 10 and above and for college students who want to get hands on experience of working with animals or conservation work. Please contact us for more information

Adult volunteers We invite committed and reliable people from the community to apply to get involved in the farm's activities.

There is a formal recruitment procedure for all volunteers that involves a formal application and an informal interview.

• As there are no paid workers at present our supervisory capacity limits the number of volunteer placements available at a given time.

• You need to be fourteen years or over to volunteer on the farm.

• We need volunteers to be reliable and commit to a fixed schedule
